
The mission of the Center for Energy Research and Technology (CERT) is to facilitate North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University becoming the pre-eminent leader in interdisciplinary energy related research, development and training.
The Center is committed to enhancing the quality of education provided to under-represented minorities in preparation for energy related careers regardless of the discipline(s) the students pursue their training in.
The center is also committed to fostering linkages among national institutions of higher learning, private sector and public sector interests at the local, state and national levels. These commitments are consistent with the University's student population and other stakeholder interests.
